College of Design, Technology Services supports the following for the sharing of files for educational purposes:

AAAFILESERVER

The AAAFILESERVER is a Windows Server 2008 server providing SMB file sharing to College of Design users on the University of Oregon network. Authentication to this server is done using your DuckID (first part of your email address), which will determine access to various resources (Course Folders, Department Office Folders, Research Folders, etc). Off-campus access to the AAAFILESERVER requires the use of the UO VPN client.

Files

Files (files.uoregon.edu) is a new data storage service offered by Information Services and hosts College of Design, Departmental folder, faculty research folders, and student group data.   Access is restricted using DuckID accounts and data can only be shared with people who have access to files and folders being shared.

OneDrive For Business (Office 365)

All current faculty, staff, and students are eligible to access the University’s Office 365 portal at http://office.uoregon.edu.  OneDrive for Business is a key component of Office 365’s suite of applications and services.  Users are provided with 1 TB (terabyte) of storage space, can edit documents online, allows versioning, and can be shared people both internal and external to the University.
