Priority access is offered to students and faculty who are actively enrolled or teaching in the College of Design in the current term. Users are responsible for safely operating all equipment and tools themselves, and must first complete a basic safety orientation and sign a release waiver before working in the woodshop, fabrication lab, or spray booth.

Any student or faculty member who is new to the Portland campus must complete the orientation procedures regardless of prior completion for a similar facility in Eugene.
